Based upon the Fender Custom Shop Esquire model, the client desired a guitar just as unique, but without the $15,000 price tag. This 100-plus year old timber was found in Bisbee, AZ, milled and sandwiched against a solid cherry core. The Seymour-Duncan Vintage series pickup was wired to a Fender S1 switch and allowed for two distinct tones.

Complete restoration of a fine example of Martin’s early era. Restoration consisted of neck reset, crack repairs to front and back, new bar frets, new bridge, saddle and nut and french polishing.

Incredible 1920’s Vega Banjo-Mandolin from the Vega company in Boston, MA. Matched serial numbers between the neck dowel and rim, this instrument received a new calfskin head, buffed metal components, and a new tailpiece. Tuners were refurbished and a new compensated saddle was installed. Instrument had the original case and “pie” resonator (not pictured).
